This is a double exposure film photograph, representing both an interior and exterior view from my apartment. I took an image of the light fixture in my kitchen and placed it on top of an image of the view from my living room window, and adjusted the lighting so that the view was only light enough in the lightbulbs. This photograph won Gold Key at the 2022 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and was displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
